Second Assignment

Good morning! :)

I wanna tell you about my second assignment. Honestly I don't understand in this second assignment. But I try it again and again. In this assignment I have 3 websites to answer for the listening question. First website: http://www.esl-lab.com/ ,  I got true as much as 2 questions and got wrong as much as 3 questions in answering machine, I got true as much as 3 questions and got false as much as 2 questions in student credit cards, and the end of the part I don't understand what they're talking about. Second website: www.gistguide.com/guide/listenings/listenings.php . Honestly, I don't really understand this second website._. I'm sorry mam. Yeah at the end, I get the third website, but I can find the parts of the third website. I don't know why._.v  Where is the parts of the third website ? Mountain swimming, animal care in public, drivers with disablities, and unique educational experiences. Where are they ? I can't find that part.

First Assignment

Hello everyone :)

Long time no see, how are you guys? I hope you all guys fine :)

I want to tell you about my first assignment. It’s about Intermediate Listening assignment. Actually I love to listening the music. The songs I really like, such as Celine Dion’s songs, Demi Lovato’s songs, and anything else. I like Celine Dion’s songs because she has nice voice. When I was young, my sister played Celine Dion’s songs. The title of the songs I’ve ever heard are “My Heart Will Go On”, “I Love You More”, “The Power Of Love”, etc. Yeah till now on I’m always play this songs. Behind Celine Dion’s songs, there is Demi Lovato’s songs I really like, because not only she has nice voice and a pretty face, but also has the good songs. I heard Demi Lovato’s songs for the first time when I was in Junior High School in Padang. The title of the songs I heard for the first time is This is me on Camp Rock’s soundtrack.

Behind listening the music, I’d love to listening when my friend tell me the funny story, their first experiences in their life or something like that. By the way, my friend ever said to me that I’m a good listener, then I asked her “Really?” and then their answered yes. Haha. I can’t imagine that I really was.

Waktu itu, panulis sedang menonton salah satu acara televisi swasta. Dimana acara tersebut adalah kuis tebak lagu yang dimainkan oleh sepasang suami istri. Kala itu pasangan Andre Stinky yang memenangi tebak lirik tsb. Dari situ penulis merasakan nikmatnya lagu tsb dan akhirnya “memaksa” untuk mencarinya di internet.
Ternyata judul lagu yang penulis cari adalah “KOKORO NO TOMO” yang dalam bahasa indonesia artinya adalah “TEMAN / KEKASIH HATI”. Sebenernya saya sama sekali tidak memahami liriknya, itulah sebabnya penulis berusaha mencari terjemahan dari lirik tsb.
Setelah berkelana, googling, dan mampir ke forum-forum, akhirnya saya ‘tersesat” disini….

Misteri dibalik lirik bohemian rhapsody - queen

Kita tahu Freddy Mercury sang vokalis Queen sering menciptakan lagu dengan kunci-kunci yang aneh. Tapi khusus untuk bohemian rhapsody dia membuat lirik lagu ini menjadi begitu aneh dan begitu misteri. Kadang dia mengumandangkan nama Allah dalam Bismillah tapi kemudian malah mengucapkan nama Iblis Beelzebub.
Selain itu bohemian rhapsody ini juga dibumbui dengan mantra ,istilah atau karakter sejarah seperti : Scaramouche (pengecut banyak omong),  Figaro (tarian), Fandango (tarian), Mama Mia (ucapan senang/terkejut), Galileo(Ilmuwan dari Italia)  dan Magnifico (mungkin magnet).
Berikut adalah beberapa pendapat yang mencoba menguak misteri lirik di lagu bohemian rhapsody,sebuah karya luar biasa dari Freddy Mercury sang vokalis Queen:
1. Dari awal lirik lagu, bisa dikatakan misteri ini adalah tentang orang miskin yang membunuh orang. Akibatnya dia dihukum dan kemudian menulis pesan kepada ibunya. Tapi dia meminta pengampunana atas dasar kemiskinan, Dia menginginkan hanya Tuhan yang menghukumnya bukan masyarakat.
2. Sama seperti diatas tapi kali orang yang diceritakan dalam lirik lagu terbaik queen ini malah mengelak dia telah membunuh. Dengan menggunakan istilah jalanan : “menari” (will you do a fandango). Bahkan perbuatannya dituduhkan hasil jebakan dari Setan Beezelbub.
3. Sama seperti 2 paragah diatas. Tapi orang ini tidak ingin dikasihani, bisa anda temukan artinya di lirik “I need no sympathy”. Dan kemudian dia membaca mantra bahkan doa supaya lolos dari hukuman mati.
4. Lagu  bohemian rhapsody ini menceritakan tentang Freddy Mercury sendiri. Lirik “just killed a man” bisa juga diartikan membunuh dirinya sendiri. Mungkin ini ketakutan vokalis Queen terhadap kenyataan dia adalah homoseksual, yang era 70-an dapat dihukum mati.
5. Tapi ada sebagian juga yang mengatakan,   lirik lagu yang mengandung sejuta misteri ini diciptakan hanya untuk mencocokkan dengan musiknya saja. Atau dengan kata lain tidak ada maknyanya sama sekali. Bintang sendiri lebih cenderung ke pendapat terakhir ini. :D
Terlepas dari misteri yang menyelimuti lirik lagu bohemian rhapsody dan sang penciptanya Freddy Mercury. Ini tetap adalah lagu terbaik dari Queen, maaf maksud saya ini adalah yang terbaik sepanjang sejarah umat manusia.
